Sacred Series | Sacred Shame - December in Person
Shame has a way of convincing us that certain parts of ourselves need to stay hidden.
The thing we did. The thing we want. The way we feel. The need we think is too much. The part of our body we judge. The choice someone else might not understand. The version of ourselves we decided was unacceptable a long time ago.
Sometimes, long before anyone else has the chance to reject us, we learn to reject ourselves.
Sacred Shame is a women’s circle for noticing the places where we’ve learned to hide, judge, or turn away from ourselves—and practicing what it might mean to stay instead.
Together we’ll explore: What have I believed I needed to hide or change in order to be welcome? Where have I learned to turn away from myself? Can this be welcome, too?
This is not a circle about forced vulnerability or confession. You will never be asked to reveal something you want to keep private. You choose what you share, what you keep for yourself, and how you participate.
The invitation is not to decide that everything we’ve ever done is okay. It is to discover whether accountability, honesty, and self-welcome can exist in the same room.
Sacred Shame is part of The Sacred Series: Rage, Grief, Shame & Freedom. Each gathering is a complete experience on its own, so you’re welcome to attend whether this is your first circle or your third. Attend multiple gatherings and you’ll experience a deeper thread building between them.
You do not have to catch up before you come. You are welcome here.

The Sacred Series | Rage. Grief. Shame. Freedom.
The Sacred Series is a four-part women’s circle experience exploring Rage, Grief, Shame, and Freedom at The Alley on Center.
Through guided reflection, journaling, small-group sharing, embodied practices, and ritual, we'll explore what our emotions can reveal about what is true, what mattered, what we've learned to hide, and where we have more freedom to choose how we live.
The series moves through four themes:
Sacred Rage | Truth — What is true?
Sacred Grief | Tenderness — What mattered?
Sacred Shame | Welcome — Can this be welcome, too?
Sacred Freedom | Authorship — Where am I already free?
Each gathering is designed as a complete experience, so you are welcome to attend one circle or the full series. Women attending multiple circles will experience a deeper thread connecting each gathering, culminating in Sacred Freedom.
No previous circle experience is necessary. Sharing and participation are always invitational, you are welcome to engage at the level that feels right for you.
